At 39 Martin Place, global law firm Ashurst has reimagined the workplace – not just as a site of productivity, but as a space for presence, connection and calm. With Architectus, DBS Consulting, and our Australian distributor MLP, the firm has shaped an environment where sophistication meets softness, and clarity is held in warmth.
Architectus’ design language is sculptural yet restrained, drawing on natural materials and fluid forms to evoke a quiet confidence. The spatial experience is open and intuitive, designed to support flexibility, collaboration and wellbeing.

At the heart of the lighting scheme is our Crackle W3 wall light. The fitting’s textured glass surface catches and refracts light with quiet drama, echoing the materiality of the space while adding a layer of visual intrigue. Tuned to complement the rhythm of the day, Crackle W3 brings warmth and depth to the workplace, reinforcing the design’s commitment to atmosphere and wellbeing.

Light is the quiet protagonist. Layered, nuanced, and attuned to the rhythm of the day, it shapes the atmosphere with subtle precision. From morning clarity to evening repose, illumination becomes a tool for mood, movement and meaning.
