For one week in April, the world of design comes together in Milan to share in a cultural exchange through inspirational exhibitions showcasing the industry’s latest products at the Salone del Mobile. This year’s one-of-a-kind event focused on illuminating the theme of light!
ADesignStudio was honoured to return to this year’s events as an exhibitor in Local Design, an impressive representation of Australian design on a world stage. Curated by the visionary Emma Elizabeth, this year’s Local Design included an unprecedented 40+ Australian Designers in one memorable presentation.
ADesignStudio’s lights and vases were interspersed through each room of the Local Design installation. The display featured our newest collections, Crackle Vase and Greenway Crackle along with the introduction of some very special new designs. Extending the Greenway Crackle collection beyond the original pendant configurations, the Crackle Lamp and Crackle Wall Sconce debuted to warm response. The Basel Collection also made its first appearance in Milan as a new range of fine-line table and floor lamps. All of the new products will be introduced in Australia at this year’s Denfair.
Additionally, Lane Crawford has teamed with Local Design on an exclusive collection of Australian-designed homewares, now available from the Asian luxury department store. ADesignStudio has created custom lights and vases in limited addition colours – Black, Brown and Blue.
